The Figueiredo-Pereira Laboratory Welcome to the Figueiredo-Pereira Laboratory in the Department of Biological Sciences at Hunter College of CUNY. The main focus of our laboratory is to investigate the relationship between impairment of the ubiquitin/proteasome pathway and inflammation leading to neurodegeneration involved in disorders such as Parkinson’s Disease and Alzheimer’s Disease.
